Bank of America is widely known for their work in finances and investing. However, their investments aren’t only monetary; they also invest in the communities they serve to promote responsible growth through their Neighborhood Builders Award.
East Side House is extremely honored to be selected as one of the 2021 Bank of America Neighborhood Builder Awardees. This is the second time East Side House has been selected to receive this prestigious award, and the only organization in New York City to receive the award twice to date. This award will help East Side House sustain and improve our Harvest to Haven program. Along with the grant, Bank of America will be providing leadership training for our Director of Government Relations Diana Rodriguez in their Emerging Leaders Program.
On Thursday, December 9th, Bank of America hosted East Side House and other past awardees at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park to celebrate our collective work in making New York City great! We heard from Jose Tavarez, President of Bank of America New York City and Westchester County, who shared words of inspiration and encouragement.
East Side House also congratulates Museum of Chinese in America as our fellow 2021 Neighborhood Builder.
Thank you, Bank of America, for your commitment to East Side House and our community. With your support we will continue to be able to expand and deepen our impact to provide even more services that will help individuals and families during times of great difficulty.
